Introducing our designers collection of flounced ponchos with hand
applied silk ruffles that wrap all around the poncho, a delightful and
fun addition to the summer collection that brings a touch of whimsy
to this season's poncho designs.

Ruffles or flounce has a long and regal history but most interesting to note
it originated in 16th century Spain and was a unisex design worn by both men
and women.
Ofcourse by the time of the Victorian age the ruffled look was everywhere
in collars, neckties dresses and the crazy bustles! Today ruffles are seen as 
playful with a bit of flirty and that is where our designers have stepped in to
include flounces to spice up our ponchos and add just the right touch of "flirty"!

Available in three styles and sizes, the hanky panky, a short style and definitely
the naughtiest design! The double ruffle a classic poncho size with a more
sophisticated look but still with an over the top touch of flounce wrapped all
around the poncho and ofcourse the super bubble size -  the boldest design
with rows and rows of ruffles for the girl in you that wants it all!

The ponchos are made using our signature organic fabric a blend of
wool and silk which is sheer and lightweight making it the perfect
accessory for daytime casual or evening formal.

The body of the SUPER bubble style is our classic poncho cut with the flounce
design done in an over the top five layers and wrapped all around the poncho,
perfection!
