H E I R L O O M BAGS
Introducing our vintage recycled SARI bags..an heirloom piece to treasure in your wardrobe for years to come!
The SARI...first mentioned in a Hindu Book of Hymms dating back to 3000 bc has captivated the Indian imagination both as a garment and as a symbol. The history of Sari like drapery can be traced back to the Indus Valley Civilization which flourished at this time in the northwestern part of the Indian subcontinent.
The word SARI evolved from the word SATIKA but today it symbolizes the beauty and love of color that India weavers are known for around the world.
Our SARI bags are made from recycled vintage silk fabrics giving these garments a new life and creating new HEIRLOOM pieces from these beautiful fabrics.
We love these colorful imaginative heirloom bags and think you will too!
